Welcome to BRISÉNN. These Terms of Service apply to your use of our website and to purchases made from BRISÉNN Studio.
By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service. Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory consumer rights available to you under applicable law.
1. Our Products
BRISÉNN pieces are made with care and many of our products are handmade and made to order.
Because of the nature of our materials and production process, slight variations in colour, finish, shape, transparency or texture may occur. These subtle differences are part of the character of the product and are not considered defects, provided the product otherwise corresponds with its description.
Product colours may also appear slightly different depending on photography, lighting and individual screen settings.
2. Orders & Payment
An order is placed once you complete the checkout process and payment has been successfully received or authorised.
After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation by email. Please review your order details carefully and contact us as soon as possible if anything is incorrect.
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order where there is a clear pricing or technical error, suspected fraudulent activity, payment issues or another legitimate reason preventing us from fulfilling the order. If payment has already been received for an order we cancel, the applicable amount will be refunded.
3. Made-to-Order Production
Most BRISÉNN pieces are produced specifically after an order is placed.
Our standard production time is approximately 3-4 weeks. Production times are estimates and may occasionally vary depending on order volume, the size or complexity of an order, material availability or other circumstances.
Estimated production time is separate from shipping time.
4. Shipping & Delivery
BRISÉNN ships worldwide from Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Once production is complete, shipping generally takes an additional 2-7 days, depending on the destination.
Delivery dates and shipping times are estimates. Delays may occur due to customs processing, carriers, local delivery circumstances or events outside our reasonable control.

5. Import Duties & Taxes
Orders shipped internationally may be subject to import duties, taxes, customs charges or other local fees.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise at checkout, these charges are not included in the product or shipping price and are the responsibility of the customer.
6. Returns & Right of Withdrawal
Eligible standard products may be returned within 30 days of delivery, in accordance with our Return Policy.
For customers who are entitled to a statutory right of withdrawal, nothing in our policies restricts or replaces those mandatory rights.
Returned products must meet the conditions described in our Return Policy.
Please review our Return Policy before returning an item for full information regarding eligibility, return instructions, costs and refunds.
7. Custom & Personalised Orders
Products that are created specifically according to a customer's individual specifications or are clearly personalised may not be eligible for cancellation or return where an exception to the statutory right of withdrawal applies.
Where applicable, this will be made clear before or during the ordering process.
Custom orders that are not covered by a mandatory right of withdrawal are considered final once production has started, unless the product arrives damaged, defective or does not correspond with the agreed specifications.
8. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products
We carefully inspect and package every order before shipment.
If your order arrives damaged, defective or different from what you ordered, please contact info@brisenn.com as soon as possible and provide clear photographs of the product and packaging.
We will review the issue and, where appropriate, arrange a suitable solution in accordance with applicable consumer law.
9. Installation & Product Care
BRISÉNN products should be installed and used in accordance with the instructions and care information supplied with the product.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the wall, ceiling or other surface used for installation is suitable for the product and the chosen fixing method.
BRISÉNN cannot be held responsible, to the extent permitted by law, for damage resulting from incorrect installation, misuse, failure to follow installation or care instructions, or modifications made to a product after delivery.
10. Intellectual Property
All BRISÉNN designs, product concepts, photographs, videos, graphics, text, branding, logos and other creative materials are owned by or licensed to BRISÉNN and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
They may not be copied, reproduced, imitated, modified, distributed, commercially exploited or used to create competing products without prior written permission from BRISÉNN.

11. Website Information
We make reasonable efforts to keep product information, prices, availability and other website content accurate and up to date.
Occasionally, errors or inaccuracies may occur. We reserve the right to correct these and to update website content, products or prices where necessary.
12. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, BRISÉNN is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses resulting from the use of our website or products, delays outside our reasonable control, or improper use or installation of a product.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it cannot legally be excluded or limits any mandatory rights available to consumers.
13. Events Outside Our Control
BRISÉNN will not be responsible for delays or failure to perform an obligation where this results from circumstances reasonably outside our control, including carrier disruptions, customs delays, natural events, government restrictions, supply disruptions or other unforeseen circumstances.
We will make reasonable efforts to minimise the impact of such events.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes to our business, website, products or applicable requirements.
The version published on our website at the time of your order will apply to that purchase, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
15. Governing Law
These Terms of Service and purchases made through BRISÉNN are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.
If you are a consumer living outside the Netherlands, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protection provisions that apply in your country of residence.
